I love the cause behind these adorable lollipop necklaces. Simone Smith {wife to LL Cool J} created this jewelry line after she was diagnosed with cancer and 10% of the proceeds go to the American Cancer Association. These necklaces have landed on the necks of many celebrities, including Khloe Kardashian. My mom is a cancer survivor, so this line is a breath of fresh air and necessary to bring awareness to the cause.

{Fierce Recipe: Seared Tuna}

{Sesame Crusted Pan Seared Yellow Tail Tuna}

{Pan Seared Tuna w/ Wasabi Mayo}

YummmY!

Ingredients:

1 pound fresh tuna fillets (1-inch thickness)
5 tablespoons white sesame seeds
2 teaspoons coarsely ground black pepper (grind in a pepper grinder or use a meat mallet or small skillet to crack whole peppercorns)
1 teaspoon kosher salt
2 tablespoons grape seed oil (or other high-heat oil, such as canola)

Procedure:

Combine the sesame seeds, pepper, and salt in a small bowl. Coat the tuna fillets with the mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
Add the oil to a medium sauté pan and place over high heat. When the oil is very hot (almost, but not quite smoking), add the tuna fillets. Sear on one side for 1 minute for rare, 2 minutes for medium-rare, and 3 minutes for medium (or keep going for well-done). Sear on the other side for the exact same amount of time. The tuna should have a nice, brown crust.
Remove to a plate, let rest for 5 minutes, slice and serve.

Beyonce was declared by VOGUE magazine, one of the TOP 10 Best Dressed of 2011. I dont know if I agree with that, but here are some of Beyonce's highlighted moments of 2011. I like the way Beyonce dresses at certain times but in these pictures I think the blonde hair washes her out. She could have some "slam dunks of fashion" but the hair sometimes keeps her from victory, in my book. Although, she is a phenomenal entertainer. Now, if she could only mimic that in her personal style, she would be force to be reckin with. Tweet me your opinions!

I was a huge fan of Derek's 1st book "Classy". Very Classy {Part 2 to Classy} is a play-by-play book on how a woman should carry herself at dinner, parties, airports, etc. It also includes some fun verbage as well. This book is a great Christmas gift for any woman.

OMG...I am gasping for air....the new Evelina bag is hot, hot, hot! I adore a good leather bag. I am smitten with the smaller Mulberry logo on the bag and the gold hardware. Mulberry has knocked it out the park again.

I start my new career on Monday and with all thats going on in my life, it was necessary to get a planner. So, it was Moleskine to the rescue...DUH! lol! I chose to go with the less traditional Moleskine planner. Therefore, I chose the Anniversary Collection of Peanuts Planner for Moleskine. I thought if I had to look at this planner for all of 2012, then it should be fun.

The details in Alexander McQueens collections is the reason why he was a genius. I mean.......these pieces from his Spring RTW collection are unreal. McQueen is one of the reasons why I LOVE fashion so much. I can totally picture the white gown as an Oscar pick.

Crepes Etc is a fabulous cafe in the chic Central West End of Saint Louis. It is a hidden wonder for all the locals. This place has the best crepes, french onion soup and hot cocoa that you have EVER tasted. They make most of there products from scratch...and let me just say....YUMMMMY. I eat at Crepes Etc twice a month because they arent afraid to use butter..lol. But, indeed worth every bite.
